This award is presented to a senior who, by exemplary character, personality, scholarship, and participation in extra-curricular activities, represents the traditions of Lehigh University.

The Lehigh University Allegiance Award is presented to seniors to recognize their dedication and continuous improvement focused within a specific organization.

This Lehigh University award recognizes those students or student organizations who best exemplify the qualities of care, concern, and/or advocacy for others through their participation in and/or coordination of volunteer and service activities.

"Ujima" is the third principle of Kwanzaa and means "collective work and responsibility." This Lehigh University award recognizes a student who has taken responsibility for and worked collectively with others to create a more inclusive campus community.

This award recognizes students who have worked to improve student life at Lehigh University in the areas of Residential Services or Residential Life.

The Leonard P. Pool Memorial Prize is based on entrepreneurial spirit which typfied the life and career of Mr. Pool and is awarded to rising juniors or rising seniors who exhibit entrepreneurial talent such as running a business while attending classes at Lehigh University.

Awarded to a graduating senior who, through his or her involvement and campus leadership, the John W. Smeaton Pillar of Integrity award recognizes a student for their unwavering contribution to the campus community.

The Bosey Reiter Leadership Cup is awarded to a senior whose leadership shall be such as to contribute primarily to the best interest of the University and is defined chiefly in terms of moral character.

Lehigh University's Deborah Pearsall Prize is awarded annually to the female undergraduate student who best exemplifies engaged leadership, an inexhaustible optimistic attitude about challenges and opportunities, and a "can do" spirit.

The Libraries Student Research Prize recognizes undergraduate student research papers or projects that show excellence in library research, mastery of subject, and strong written communication skills. A review group of faculty and librarians selects prize-winners in a rigorous, multi-phase evaluation. In addition to recognition at Lehigh, the Prize includes a monetary award and is awarded annually in the Spring.

Sara Boyd of Chattanooga, TN was named a 2019-2020 Newman Civic Fellow for her work on voter mobilization, gun reform, and civic engagement. Her nomination to the fellowship came from Lehigh University's President's Office and Center for Community Engagement. Boyd will join a class of 250+ fellows from the US and abroad, taking part in a one-year experience that will further her leadership in solving public problems.

LeaderShape is a nationally recognized six-day experience that challenges participants to explore identity development and inclusive leadership. Students work towards developing a blueprint plan that includes discussions on how to lead with integrity and have a healthy disregard for the impossible. Leadershape is a transformative program offered through Lehigh's Community Service Office.

David Morency '18, a Presidential Scholar who will graduate from the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors program (IBE) at Lehigh with dual majors in finance and industrial systems and engineering, has won a prestigious Schwarzman Scholarship for study in China.
